The children were asked to draw and name our green tree frog featured in our new environmental award. Winners from each class are displayed here. The overall winner was Emily with her entry " Respecto". Starting this year, all classes will be competing for the award. By showing that they are looking after their immediate environment (their classroom) the children can win the environmental award. The school' s environmental monitors will check to see who are doing the best job at keeping the classrooms clean and tidy. We hope the attitudes and values fostered in their classrooms will carry through into the wider environment. This strategy supports the schools successful ' Wastewise' programme and wider values education initiatives.
